IN THE INBOX, BEFORE IT IS OPENED
Credimate
9:04 am
Working at Heights expires in 12 days
Runs out 21 September. Add the new one and it is filed in seconds…
The subject carries the credential name and the number of days, so it is actionable from the lock screen without opening anything. Never “You have a notification”.
WHY THIS ONE MATTERS MOST
A worker opens the app a handful of times a year. They receive this email every time something is about to lapse — which is the only moment the product is doing its actual job. For most people this email is Credimate.
So it does not say “log in to see”. It states the credential, the issuer, the number, the date and the days left, and offers to file the renewal by reply — the whole job done without ever opening the app.
BUILD NOTES
600px wide, single column, no background images — half of mail clients block images, and everything here still reads if they do. The logo is the only graphic and it is inline SVG with a text fallback.
The footer address is not decoration: Australian anti-spam law requires a real postal address and a working unsubscribe on commercial mail. Fill it before the first send.
